WHAT IS THE 211 APP?
211 is a free, confidential referral and information resource that helps people find the local help they need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The new app combines the data used by eight regional 211 centers in Wisconsin and puts it in the palm of anybody's hand: Instant Resources!
The app continues United Way's mission to help people in need with resources and a listening ear.
Your donation will ensure that the data usage fees for this year are covered, so United Way will continue to provide community resources that will enable everyone to experience a sense of community, stability, family & safety.
Simply download the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store and you can use it anonymously or as a registered user to immediately connect to helpful services such as food pantries, healthcare, shelter, utility assistance, clothing & household needs, and more! Enter a zip code to search for resources, or let your GPS location services map available organizations.
211 PROVIDES HELP!
Last year, 211 call centers in Wisconsin fielded more than 256,000 requests for help. As a result, more than 407,000 total referrals were provided to those in need, such as information about the nearest food pantry, the phone number for rent assistance or the time at which an emergency shelter opens each day.

You and the First Weber Foundation will make a difference in lives all across Wisconsin!
The First Weber Foundation has a goal to raise $15,000 to United Way in 2024 to support the cost of annual data usage for the 211 App. The Foundation was established in 2006 to give First Weber colleagues a way to strengthen the communities in which we live and serve by supporting qualifying 501(c)3 non-profit agencies.

Since then, the First Weber Foundation has donated more than $4.1 Million - all at the direction of our agents and staff - with most of it staying right in Wisconsin.

With its primary focus on housing, food, youth & family, the First Weber Foundation is excited to partner with United Way of Dane County and United Way Wisconsin to put community resources right in the hands of the people who need them instantly!
Together, we can make a difference
in the lives of our neighbors!
The First Weber Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service. Your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law.
