Breast Cancer has no favorite age or race. In 2020, an estimated 276,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed among women. Approximately 2,670 cases will be diagnosed in men. In addition, an estimated 48,530 cases of DCIS (non-invasive) will be diagnosed among women. An estimated 42,170 will die in 2020.
As COVID 19 continues to spread, women and men continue to be diagnosed with Breast Cancer, with many of those needing a mastectomy to treat their cancer. That’s where we need your help!
The First Weber Foundation has supported our fundraiser, Bags for Bags plus Scarves, and we've had huge success in helping to raise funds in support of the mission, by selling “gently used” donated purses and scarves. This year, we will not be able to hold our annual fundraiser, but we’re hoping you will find it in your heart to donate to this great cause, and the First Weber Foundation will match the first $2500 raised for Necessities Bag Wisconsin!
Necessities Bag Wisconsin is a not-for-profit Organization that provides mastectomy patients with a beautiful white canvas tote bag, free of charge, filled with personal care items for help in preparing for your mastectomy, and after care items that are so helpful. This amazing organization does this through donations and assembles the bags with the help of all volunteers.
