Ben Sheets Bobblehead Minimum Bid: $15
This 50th Anniversary Bobblehead is the 4th in a set of 5. On May 16, 2004, Sheets took the mound in the 9th inning riding a 4-1 lead over Atlanta. Having already pitched eight innings, the righty had his eye on more than just a complete-game victory: history was on the line.
Facing the top of the Braves' lineup, Sheets struck out the side in order, delivering the win and a new franchise record: 18 strikeouts in a single game.
Since 2000, only three other pitchers have racked up 18 Ks in a single game - Randy Johnson, Max Scherzer & Corey Kluber. The dominant performance helped Sheets earn his second All-Star nod en route to a 2.70 ERA and a league-leading 8.25 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
For his career, Sheets played 10 seasons, eight in Milwaukee, and racked up four All-Star appearances. He was inducted into the Brewers Wall of Honor in 2014.
