Wills Earns Good Neighbor Award

Charlie Wills of the West Madison Office was recently awarded a $3,500 prize from the REALTORS Association of South Central Wisconsin as part of the RASCW REALTORS Are Good Neighbors Celebration in Madison.

Charlie helped found 100 Men of Dane County more than 6 years ago, for which he is currently President of the Board. Since their beginning, the group has raised and donated more than $2 Million for local nonprofit organizations that focus on making a significant impact on and changing the lives of children in Dane County. 100 Men of Dane County has helped 24 different organizations with a focus on housing, food, employment and mental/physical health. There are no administrative fees, so 100% of donations are awarded to nonprofits and children in need.

Besides the dues that members pay, the group raises over $30,000 annually through sponsorships and corporate partnerships to pay for the needs and administrative costs. The group plans to add a women's division in 2024.

The First Weber Foundation and First Weber congratulate Charlie on this award. As a Participant of the First Weber Foundation, Charlie is helping to make a difference throughout the State and beyond with his generous contributions. The First Weber Foundation was established in 2006 with a mission to enrich the communities in which we serve through charitable giving and volunteer leadership. "Charlie has gone above and beyond to serve his community. We are proud of him and grateful for his philanthropic spirit. He is making a difference in so many ways," said Foundation President Tammy Maddente.

Other First Weber agents who were nominated for the RASCW REALTORS Are Good Neighbors Awards were Brad Cook of the Portage Office, Rose Freidel of the Sun Prairie Office and Jacci See of the Middleton Office.

Congratulations to Charlie and to all of the nominees for their contributions to their communities!
